THE MASTERON METHOD

The Masterson Method works entirely in close contact with the horse.
A body can release tension only when it is in a relaxed state and we try to stay under the brace reaction of the horses.
We work with the nervous system and rather then releasing tension for the horse or actively stretching muscles, we show the horse ways to release the tension for himself and help them to be able to let go of pain patterns ( also old ones ) and restrictions.
The Masterson Method also works well towards performance improvement to help rider and horses as a team to remain within or regain fluent , free and light movements .
Tension or pain in one part of the horses body has influence on the whole system of the horse, including its mental state and it is very important for all horses to feel comfortable and relaxed within themselves to be able to perform, learn, listen and rest.
With new horses and depending on what is found it may take several session for patterns to be released and for hard working sports horses it is recommended to have them worked on a regular basis to keep the muscles and fascia and therefore joints healthy.

In the past years that I have been working with this technique , I have had wonderful feedback from horses and their partners and from my own horses as well .

OSTEOPATHY

The osteopathy works a little more with mobilisation and sometimes manipulation of joints and at the same time very soft and gently technics for the muscles and facia of the horse.
Both technics consider the whole horse and have a wholesome approach.
Osteopathy believes in the power of self healing and we are trying to help the horses to feel free and comfortable, to regain or maintain a healthy body posture and energy flow.

France has a different legal system than Germany, and I am not legally authorised to work as an osteopath in France with a German certification. Therefore, I do not make diagnoses. I confirm that I am not a veterinarian and that my work in France is based on relaxation and the well-being of the horse.

Pricing and information for the bodywork on horses

My rate in France is € 80 / in Germany € 130

A session can take around 2 hours including gate analyses. The horse should not have worked for at least an hour before . And it will need a 1-2 days rest after the session for the body to get used to different and new sensations. That of course depends on what has been found and the body work can be adjusted to the horses trainings schedule.

I am also happy to negociate my rates if necessary , so please do not be shy to ask.
